Gaurav and Diksha Khanna is one of the three finalists in the micro business category for IEC Awards. The winner will be announced on 19th November at a Gala dinner in Sofitel

Branded Chocolates & Confectionery is one of the leading suppliers of corporate promotional chocolates and confectionery in the promotional product industry. The company won the prestigious Wyndham Business Award for the year 2016 under the Small Manufacturer category.

Beginning with only a handful of products, their range today boasts of over 500 products—everything from chocolates to macaroons and fortune cookies as well as custom printed packaging. Branded Chocolates & Confectionery has a network of over 1000 distributors all over Australia through which they sell their products to the corporate industry.

“After having established ourselves as one of the leading suppliers in the B2B sector, the plan is to enter the B2C sector and take our products into the retail market. The work on this expansion is in full swing with the launch happening within the next couple of months,” say founders, the husband-wife team of Gaurav and Diksha Khanna. “Our Eureka moment was when we discovered an incredible technology that could print on chocolate,” says Gaurab.

The company has been a keen supporter of ‘Special Olympics Australia’ donating a fixed amount each year to charity. Gaurav and Diksha have also established a not for profit organisation called ‘Celebrating Life’ to organise custom birthday parties for homeless and underprivileged and children in shelters. “We recently teamed up with Salvation Army and handed out macaroons printed with quotes of hope to the homeless at Werribee Station,” says Diksha.

Dear Reader,

The Indian Sun is an independent organisation committed to community journalism. We have, through the years, been able to reach a wide audience especially with the growth of social media, where we also have a strong presence. With platforms such as YouTube videos, we have been able to engage in different forms of storytelling. However, the past few years, like many media organisations around the world, it has not been an easy path. We have a greater challenge. We believe community journalism is very important for a multicultural country like Australia. We’re not able to do everything, but we aim for some of the most interesting stories and journalism of quality. We call upon readers like you to support us and make any contribution. Do make a DONATION NOW so we can continue with the volume and quality journalism that we are able to practice.

Thank you for your support.

Best wishes,
Team The Indian Sun
