Embassy@97 Bistro’s new menu offers an introduction to the delicate flavours of European cuisine

It’s no secret I love Williamstown, a place I’ve featured in the last couple of editions of the magazine. It has so much to offer and being so close to Melbourne, I believe it is the perfect place to unwind and indulge! Beaches, waterfront eateries, coffee, pizza, pasta, seafood, and now Embassy@97 Bistro, one of my favourite restaurants, has upped the ante by revamping its menu coming into the warmer months.

Lenny Giri, the head chef here, takes great pride in everything he brings to your plate. Lenny has over 16 years of experience across the globe, including working with Gary Mehigan in “Fenix”. Lenny has a passion for food, working with his talented and dedicated team of chefs preparing nothing but the best. His selection of beverages complements the dishes, offering guests a complete dining experience. His new menu offers an exciting, tantalising introduction to European cuisine.

I’ve been to many restaurants, in many different countries and it never ceases to amaze me the combinations and flavours and textures today’s chefs come up with.

With the world becoming such a fish bowl our palates are becoming so much more sophisticated and Australian palates expect the best these days. Gone are the days of heading to the local fish and chip shop for a “special” night out.

Australian produce is second to none and Lenny has managed to weave the magic of local Australian produce into a menu that offers delicate flavours without losing the authenticity of his intended European menu to the diner.

I’ve really got to expand my horizons though, as I keep being drawn back to Embassy@97.

Whether it’s winter, summer, autumn or spring Embassy@97 has a dining area for all. Winter, by the fire, summer out in the beer garden or air-conditioned restaurant, spring and autumn, wherever takes your fancy. Nelson Place, where the restaurant sits, offers views overlooking the waterway to Melbourne and by night Melbourne lights up delighting diners to a picturesque view of Melbourne by night.

Embassy@97 offers the complete alternative to all occasions, whether it be a group function or a private affair, Lenny takes every care to make sure your experience is memorable for all the RIGHT reasons.

Sip a glass of wine, beer or cider from their boutique cellars as you sample some of the finest European food in Australia.

In next month’s edition Lenny has kindly offered a free lunch for two at the restaurant. Watch out for the conditions of the competition in the November issue.
